Dr. Joseph R. Garza of the Advanced Fertility Lab became one of the founding physicians of the Institute For Women’s Health in 1996. The Institute For Women’s Health has been providing caring, compassionate, and comprehensive women's healthcare for more than 13 years in San Antonio. Dr. Joseph R. Garza has been practicing fertility and reproductive endocrinology since 1983. In 1985 he performed the first GIFT procedure in private practice in San Antonio. He is an international lecturer and instructor in advanced laser, reproductive surgical and microsurgical procedures.
